About Drawing Classes
During the Tutored Drawing Course, you will learn classical drawing techniques based on the methods of the Great Masters, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael and Michelangelo. Through a series of lessons, you will gain a deep understanding of the principles of composition, proportion, shading, and perspective, and develop the skills needed to create beautiful, finished drawings.
Beginning with an overview of the core principles of classical drawing, including the use of line, value, and form to create dynamic and compelling compositions. While studying the work of great masters, and still life, we will explore various mediums such as pencil, charcoal and ink.
Throughout the course, you will be encouraged to experiment and explore your own artistic style while honing your technical skills. You will receive feedback and critique from your instructor and peers, and learn how to incorporate these insights into your own work.
By the end of the course, you will have developed a strong foundation in classical drawing techniques, and be able to create beautifully rendered drawings using the same methods as the Great Masters. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist looking to refine your skills, this course is designed to help you achieve your artistic goals.
The classes are relaxed and fun while focusing on creating a finished drawing within every 2-hour lesson. Every lesson is different and tailored to the needs and skill level of the individual student. Some students have been on this journey with us since day 1.

“Nina is a great teacher, giving good advice and help where needed while encouraging everyone to work in their own way. The classes are focused, but good fun, with different challenges each week. I really enjoy going and would recommend.”
